Boosting innovation in the construction sector

Born in September 2022 after the Covid-19 crisis, the SUSTAIN Eurocluster project aims to boost the building construction market by providing the sector with the most recent and updated tools and systems in this field. The project will focus on the introduction of innovative digital tools to SMES that enable them to assess the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) of buildings using different technologies, such as the Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Objectives

  • Developing a network of clusters and SMEs to boost the construction market.

  • Addressing the sector's strategic dependencies, both technological and industrial, and improve the EU's strategic autonomy in this field.

  • Promoting innovative solutions related to energy efficiency and the intelligence of buildings
