The Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau will host this year the VIII edition of La Nit de l'Eficiència, the largest event in the energy sector in Catalonia, organized by the Cluster of Energy Efficiency of Catalonia (CEEC). The event will bring together personalities and authorities in the field of energy management and efficiency; at the same time, the third edition of the Emerging Awards will be held, which will reward two innovative entrepreneurs or emerging companies in the sector.
The 2021 Efficiency Night has been organized following all safety and protection measures towards the Covidien-19. Attendance at the event, which in previous editions has brought together more than 500 industry professionals, has been restricted exclusively to associates and industry personalities for safety and prevention reasons.
This year, La Nit de l'Eficiència has the support of the Catalan Energy Institute, BAXI, Energy Tools, Mútua d'Enginyers and Salicru, among others.
10 innovative projects in the field of efficient energy management in Catalonia have been presented at the third edition of the Emerging Awards
The third edition of the Emerging Awards, the aim is to recognize the / and / or start-ups that develop innovative projects in the sector of management and energy efficiency in Catalonia has 10 participants, all of them recognized for having implemented projects which improve energy management in their areas of action.
The Emerging Awards are divided into two categories, the “Seed” category and the “Product” category. In the first, those projects aimed at strengthening the protection of the knowledge generated, the first tests, the definition of the marketing route, the technological and commercial viability or the design, among others, are awarded. The second category, "Product", rewards projects aimed at obtaining prototypes that make it possible to reduce uncertainties about the technical and commercial viability of developing technology.
The Night of Efficiency will also recognize the work of professionals and media who raise awareness about the climate emergency and the importance of energy efficiency and renewable energies to address it, with the '2021 Communication Award'.
