In a context of accelerated growth in electric mobility, cyber security is becoming a key factor in guaranteeing trust, interoperability and data protection in charging and energy management systems.
This day, organized by the Electric Mobility Working Group of the CEEC, aims to offer an updated view of the challenges and opportunities posed by cyber security in the electric mobility sector, both from an institutional and business point of view.
On the one hand, we will have the intervention of Carla Treviño, EV Director of IRDETO, who will address the current challenges and the state of regulations regarding cyber security within the charging ecosystem. His presentation will place particular emphasis on the Plug and Charge solution and how this technology contributes to improving security and interoperability between all the agents involved—from charging points to vehicles and management platforms—offering a comprehensive view of the best practices and emerging technologies in this area.
Next, we will learn about the experience of Place to Plug, a partner of the CEEC, which will explain how to apply cyber security in the operational management of charging points through the development of its own platform.
The event will conclude with the Q4 plenary meeting of the CEEC, where the conclusions of 2025 will be presented and the cluster's next steps for 2026 will be discussed.
