The renovation of the existing building stock is one of the main drivers for advancing the decarbonisation of the territory. However, for projects to become a reality, it is essential to make the process easier for the people, homeowners' associations, businesses and public authorities involved.
On 15 September, we are co-organising, together with the Diputació de Barcelona and with the support of ACCIÓ, the event One-Stop Shops to Drive Energy Renovation: Key Insights and Experiences for Their Roll-out Across the Territory.
The session, promoted by the Sustainable Buildings Working Group of the Clúster de l'Energia Eficient de Catalunya (CEEC), will focus on One-Stop Shops (OSSs) for renovation: support hubs designed to facilitate access to information, grants, financing and services, while helping to make the entire energy renovation process more feasible.
At a key moment marked by the transposition of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), the event will bring together public authorities, local authorities, renovation offices and sector stakeholders to discuss how One-Stop Shops for renovation can be rolled out across Catalonia.
The session will combine the new regulatory framework, experiences already underway across the territory and different perspectives on support models that can facilitate the energy renovation of buildings.
It will provide an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into current proposals, identify models that can be applied by municipalities, and understand the tools, partnerships and capabilities that will need to be developed over the coming years.
