This week, the  Clúster de l’Energia Eficient de Catalunya (CEEC), represented by its Cluster Manager, Francesc Ribera, took part in the consolidation of the Interregional Alliance of Energy Clusters of Spain.

The coalition, promoted by the sectoral energy clusters of Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Castile and León, the Valencia Region, Extremadura, Galicia, Navarre and Catalonia, was formalised during the Genera 2025 trade fair.

Together, the nine regional clusters bring together more than 900 members, including companies, technology centres, universities, public administrations and professional associations.

The alliance has been created with several objectives:

  • strengthening cooperation between territories

  • driving innovation

  • advancing towards a fair, orderly and cohesive energy transition across the entire national territory

  • promoting the development of joint innovation and R&D&I projects at national level and within European programmes linked to the twin green and digital transition

The alliance is made up of the Andalusian Cluster of Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency (CLANER), the Aragon Energy Cluster (Clenar), the Castilla y León Cluster of Renewable Energies and Energy Solutions (CYLSOLAR), the Catalan Energy Efficiency Cluster (CEEC), the Energy Cluster of the Valencia Region, the Extremadura Energy Cluster, the Galician Renewable Energy Cluster (Cluergal), the Balearic Islands Ecological Transition Cluster (TEIB) and the Navarre Renewable Energy Cluster (Enercluster).
