The Catalan Energy Cluster has launched a recruitment process to hire a new Project Manager. Candidates should have an academic background in the technological and/or scientific fields, along with a minimum of two years’ experience in managing innovation projects, particularly within the framework of national and/or European R&D&I programmes. Knowledge of the energy sector in general, and specifically of energy efficiency and renewable energies, will be highly valued.

Position profile

The selected professional will primarily be responsible for supporting the preparation and management of project proposals under European, national, and Catalan calls. They will also carry out other tasks related to project development and the organisation’s day-to-day operations, such as:

  • Project justification.

  • Identifying funding opportunities (development of new services, grants and subsidies, etc).

  • Promoting co-creation and project ideation dynamics, encouraging interaction between members of the Catalan Energy Cluster and other public and private stakeholders.

  • Generating synergies among cluster members.

  • Organising events and activities.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least two years of experience in managing nationally and/or European-funded projects. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree

  • Preferably in a technological and/or scientific field. A Master’s in Industrial Engineering and/or Energy Engineering or equivalent is desirable

  • Additional training in business management (postgraduate or similar) will be valued

  • Advanced command of Catalan, Spanish, and English (knowledge of other languages is also a plus)

  • Knowledge of the energy sector in general, and specifically of energy efficiency and renewable energy

  • Experience and knowledge in the development of clusters and/or sectoral associations
