The general director of the Association of Electric Energy Companies, Paloma Sevilla, presented this morning the main changes for 2024 of the Datadis and SIORD platform. He did so in a webinar organized by the Demand Flexibility and Photovoltaic Working Groups of the CEEC, responding to the demands of both groups and, in return, bringing the cluster's associates closer to the main players in the system.
During the meeting, Sevilla noted the novelty of presenting both platforms in the same forum and detailed each of them. On the one hand, Datadis, operational since 2020, is a common platform for information on electricity consumption, which, acting as a centralized hub, gives access to individual information on consumption, energy used and supply point contracts. In addition, it has an aggregated information area that gives access to statistical information of general interest to regulators, administrations and market agents. The general director of the Association of Electric Energy Companies has highlighted topics such as reactive energy, the maximum permissible power of the installation, improvements in the quality of the data, improvements in the API or having dates of 'beginning of ownership of the CUPs.
As for SIORD, it has been operational since March 2023, and is envisioned as a solution for real-time information exchange in the distribution network, as well as a common technical space for all distributors for real-time information exchange with the USRs. Sevilla has presented its functionalities, architecture, monitoring and has highlighted that it is already working on pilot projects.
