On Thursday 9 July, we took part in the 14th Strategic Immersion for cluster teams, an event organised by ACCIÓ in Vilafranca del Penedès that brought together Catalonia's cluster organisations to share knowledge, anticipate emerging trends and reflect on the key challenges shaping the future of strategic sectors.

This year's edition focused on the impact of innovation, artificial intelligence (AI) and data spaces on the transformation of business models, as well as the new opportunities these technologies offer to strengthen business competitiveness.

Throughout the event, we explored real-life business cases demonstrating how AI is transforming different industries, providing practical examples and valuable insights. We also examined the potential of data spaces as a tool to foster collaboration, improve data governance and support the development of new innovation projects, while discovering several successful initiatives led by cluster organisations.

The event featured leading experts including Alberto Pezzi, Anna Monjo, Anna Borrell, Josep M. Ganyet, Joan Rosés, José Manuel Rigueiro, Àlex Santos Rosique, Ana Schembari, María Morandé, Lidia Morcillo and Carissa Véliz, who shared their perspectives and experience on the challenges and opportunities that new technologies present for the business community.

The day concluded with a networking session that encouraged the exchange of experiences, the creation of new synergies and stronger collaboration between the different clusters and the wider innovation ecosystem.

At the Clúster de l'Energia Eficient de Catalunya (CEEC), we remain committed to actively participating in initiatives like this, which enable us to anticipate emerging trends, build new connections and continue driving innovation in support of the energy transition. Sharing knowledge and experience with other clusters helps us identify new collaboration opportunities and reinforces our commitment to a more sustainable, efficient and competitive energy model.
