Projects, collaborations, innovation and the energy transition. Behind all this is a team that works every day to make the CEEC a space for connection and opportunities for the sector. Before the end of the year, we would like to take the opportunity to introduce the people who make it all possible.
At the head of the organisation is Francesc Ribera, Cluster Manager, who leads the CEEC’s overall strategy, coordinates the team and represents the cluster before institutions, partners and stakeholders in the energy sector.
Alongside him is Carla Rebés, Cluster Operations Coordinator, who supports management in implementing the cluster’s strategy. She coordinates the internal operations of the CEEC’s different areas in a cross-cutting manner, facilitating communication among team members and ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day execution.
In the area of innovation and projects is Gabriela Paredes, Innovation Manager, responsible for leading the CEEC’s innovation activities and facilitating the organisation’s participation in collaborative R&D projects.
Also within this area is Laia Balagué, Project Manager, who leads and oversees the organisation’s strategic projects, while also promoting collaborative initiatives and project management activities that add value for members.
We are closing the year with new additions to the CEEC’s communications team. Cristina Casaprima, Communications & Events Manager, is responsible for the cluster’s communications and events area. She coordinates external communications, leads the organisation of events and works to strengthen the CEEC’s visibility, networking among members and connections with the innovation, sustainability and energy ecosystem.
Joining her team is Maria Trilla, Social Media & Digital Content Specialist, responsible for boosting the cluster’s digital presence, managing social media channels, creating content and supporting the dissemination of the CEEC’s activities and events.
These are the people who make up the CEEC team and whom you can contact for any queries, proposals or ideas.
In addition to their respective roles, each team member is also responsible for coordinating different CEEC Working Groups. Francesc Ribera oversees the Geothermal Working Group; Carla Rebés is responsible for Demand Flexibility and Storage, as well as Energy Savings Certificates (CAEs); Gabriela Parades leads the Photovoltaics and the Sustainable Buildings Working Group; Laia Balagué coordinates the Electric Mobility and Hydrogen Working Groups; and, finally, Cristina Casaprima coordinates the Communications and Marketing Working Group.
We continue to work to ensure that 2026 will be a year full of projects, collaborations and opportunities for the sector.
