Ecoserveis is looking for an expert on energy poverty, passionate about social equity and fair energy, aiming to work in a European environment.

Barcelona

Responsibilities/Job tasks

  • Support the assistance for local authorities with energy poverty technicalexperience as well as to support the projectmanagement of the European Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH). More specifically:
    • Provide technical assistance and project management of a series of work plans for municipalities inprogressing on alleviating local energy poverty
    • Design and execution of calls for applicants to receive support by EPAH
    • Provide inputs for research carried out within EPAH
  • Technical supportforH2020 European projectson energy poverty
  • Support on the preparation on Calls related to energypoverty

Candidate Requirements 

  • English and Spanish,(C1 equivalent) written and spoken, Catalan is a plus
  • BSc in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar
  • 3–4 years’ experience working onEuropean/internationalprojects
  • Knowledge of the energy sectorand specifically energy poverty
  • Degree, qualification or equivalent professional experience in Project Management
  • Other degrees on sustainable energy will be positively valued

Working conditions

  • 35h/week
  • Starting date: August 2021
  • Contract duration: Temporary for 2 years duration, extendable
  • Salary: Annual gross salary is commensurate with qualifications and consistent with our pay ranges.
