The Catalan Energy Cluster is launching this September a new Working Group dedicated to Sustainable Building, which aims to be a meeting place for the main agents of sustainable building and architecture.
Promoted by the companies GP9 Consulting, NTT DATA and WATTEGA, the group will work on the three pillars of sustainable architecture: climate action, quality of life, and ecological conservation and restoration.
The main goals of this new working group go from addressing the most current challenges, such as the decarbonisation of the existing housing stock and the implementation of updated European regulations, and to delve into the new trends and innovations in architecture.
The constitution session on next September 26
The first meeting of the group will be next September 26 from 9:30h to 11:30h at the NTT Data headquarters. During this session, the constitution of the group will be carried out as well as the presentation of objectives and set-up of an activities plan for the next year.
The event will be attended by the head of the Buildings Unit of the Catalan Energy Institute, Ainhoa Mata, who will present the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). There will also be the group coordinators, Ivan Capdevila from WATTEGA, Albert Colomer from GP9 Consulting, and Patricia Ruiz Matilla from NTT DATA who will lead the second part where the activities plan will be set up.
