Last week, the CEEC took part in the follow-up meeting held in Triposona for the Smart Energy PACI – Phase II project, which is being developed under the framework of the Innovative Business Clusters (AEI) programme of the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Tourism.

The Head of Geological Resources at ICGC and coordinator of the CEEC Geothermal Working Group, Ignasi Herms, participated as a Keynote Speaker at the “Geothermal Energy for Europe” conference in Krakow. In his address, he emphasized the essential role of geological surveys in geothermal development and underlined the importance of the upcoming European Geothermal Action Plan. He also joined a panel discussion with other European geological institutions, highlighting the need for international cooperation to advance toward a more sustainable and resilient energy transition in Europe.

On May 15 and 16, CEEC participated in the General Assembly of the European project GiDomus, held in Olot. The session brought together the various members of the consortium to coordinate the next steps of the project and review the progress of the OSS (One-Stop Shops) model for energy renovation.
